Dr. Francis Collins on the Intersection of Faith and Science

I think if there’s going to be a solution, it’s going to come from each of us. We are, after all, the grassroots. We are, as More in Common has called it—that’s a group that’s done careful surveys of society—most of us part of the exhausted middle. We’re not out there on the left fringe or the right fringe. We’re like, what happened to us? We might be tilted a little bit to the blue or red side of politics, but it’s not what drives us. It’s not our identity.
