Research Associate

We are hiring a full-time Research Associate to support our work on democracy, polarization, and social cohesion. The role involves designing and analyzing quantitative and qualitative research, managing an online research panel, visualizing data, writing up findings, and helping develop new projects and grant proposals. This is a remote, US-based position (with a preference for Washington, D.C., working in-person 3 days/week) and includes some US travel. Compensation ranges from $63,000–$80,000 annually, commensurate with experience, with benefits including a generous leave policy, matching 401(k), and medical insurance. Development Intern – Summer 2026

We are hiring for a Development Intern for the Summer of 2026. The internship is full-time (up to 40 hours per week) and runs for approximately eight weeks beginning in June or July 2026. This is a remote, US-based position. The intern will work closely with our Head of Development on grants, fundraising, and resource generation in support of our mission to strengthen democracy and social cohesion. This is a paid position ($26/hour), but we encourage applicants to explore university funding opportunities; we will do our best to accommodate relevant academic deadlines. Research Interns – Summer 2026

We are also hiring for Research Interns for the Summer of 2026. The internship is full-time (40 hours per week) and runs for eight weeks in June or July 2026 (start date flexible). Research interns may be based in Washington, D.C. (hybrid) or work remotely from within the United States. This is a paid position, but we encourage applicants to explore university funding opportunities; we will do our best to accommodate relevant academic deadlines.
